BREEZE – Good Experiment

IS IT POSSIBLE TO TURN SOMETHING MOMS HATE INTO A SOURCE OF PRIDE?

A dirty child is often perceived as naughty & careless. And almost instantly, their parents, most especially their mother, are judged to be irresponsible and neglectful.

It’s no wonder moms can’t stand dirt – even more so, when it’s on their children’s clothes.

This hate for dirt goes beyond their burden of doing the laundry. It’s deeply rooted on the hurtful and misconstrued judgement they become vulnerable to.

But does dirt really make moms and their children bad? The Breeze Good experiment proved otherwise.

Unsuspecting moms will get the shock of their lives at the sight of their children who are almost totally covered with mud and grease. But the intense anger and frustration will later be replaced with hugs, kisses and pride as these kids prove how the dirt on their shirt is in fact, their own unique badge of goodness.

Google Web Rangers – Activation

Screen Shot 2015-12-03 at 12.00.41 PM

Last August 20, 2015, we launched Google Webrangers – a campaign (and competition) that encourages the Filipino youth to fight for a safer online world. Aspiring “Webrangers” registered and fought for their spot via webrangers.ph

In the process, I had the privilege of coaching and helping 3 groups crack the brief – to develop an anti-cyberbullying campaign –  a brief that even professional advertising creatives find difficult to solve.

To cut the long story short, all my teams’ hard work paid off as 2 of them broke into the top 3 – with group 7 even winning 1st place.

“Cyberbully 404” – composed of Hyun Ju Song from De La Salle Santiago Zobel, Adj Regidor of Enderun Colleges, Reanna Noel and Bea Aquino from Miriam College High School, and Haedric Daguman from St John of Beverley School – bested 11 other campaigns sifted from over 300 sign-ups.

Cyberbully 404 made a social experiment where they gave a set of cards containing insults to their acquaintances, challenging them to give it to others within the day.

“If you can’t say it in person, why would you do it online?” the campaign asked.” – Rappler

Part of their prize is a visit to Google Asia’s HQ in Singapore, where they get to present their winning idea to Google execs! How cool is that?

Always proud and happy to be part of a campaign that promotes the values I believe and live by. I really hope these kids continue changing the world!

No stopping Modess #StopTheBulong (Stop The Whisper)

After its Finalist finish in Singapore’s APPIES 2015 awards and being sighted as “Best Insight” in the same show, Modess’ powerful online campaign is once again on a roll with its recent shortlist status in the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines Boomerang Awards 2015. Awarding ceremonies take place on September 11.

Watch the case study (below) to see what gives this campaign the “YES” nods from International and local juries.
